I’m an award-winning journalist with the ABC, based in Ipswich and Brisbane. I’m an experienced video journalist and digital reporter who has reported from the frontline of bushfires, floods, and cyclones.
I have extensive experience as a field reporter and digital content producer. I’ve worked across television, radio, online and print, crafting compelling stories for almost a decade. I began my journalism career in 2016, initially working as a reporter and digital editor for News Corp newspapers across regional Queensland. I joined the ABC in 2020 and have worked in Mackay, Gladstone, Toowoomba, Ipswich and Brisbane.
In 2024 I was selected to take part in the Walkley Foundation’s media exchange to South Korea, where I reported on life along the border between North and South Korea, as well as the trade relationship between Australia and the ROK – via a viral Australian-themed pasta dish taking Seoul by storm.
In 2024 I won Best Multimedia Reporting at the Queensland Rural Press Awards for my series on how climate change is impacting regional Queensland and the opportunities it presents. I was a finalist for the Clarion awards in 2024 for my expose on the Two by Twos sect, in 2023 for my work reporting on the Gladstone Maternity Unit closure and in 2021 for my reporting on a rural school with no drinking water.
